This is because of its wonderful weather year round and immense beauty. We found this to be such a perfect inspiration for this year’s Hope’s In Style theme: Spring Into Hope! You see\, when we think of Spring\, hope is all around. The flowers are blooming after a long winter. The sun is shining\, welcoming the new life. Spirits are lifted and there is just an overwhelming feeling of newness. These are the things we try to embody in our impact as an organization. \n  \nLife changing counseling for a girl who is healing from the trauma of abuse. Walking alongside a teenage girl who has just welcomed new life and doesn’t quite know who to turn to. A fresh start for a family in their brand new cinder block home. Training doctors and special educators with fresh perspectives and approaches as they work with some of Guatemala City’s most vulnerable populations. Through these moments and more\, we try to “Spring Into Hope” all year long here at HOPE’S IN. This year\, our event will be on April 13th at Avante Banquets.  \nThanks to incredible sponsors and volunteers\, we were able to build safe\, dignified homes for people like Catalina and Luis and their family last year. After enduring severe storm damage to their fragile house\, including flooding and the loss of most of their essential belongings\, the family lived in fear and faced mounting anxiety. Imagine losing your home and all your belongings without any resources or support to replace them. With your help\, we provided them with a sturdy\, secure home that offers privacy and safety.
