OUR MISSION OF HOPE
HOPE’S IN is dedicated to impacting and empowering families in Guatemala City
THERE ARE 13,000 PEOPLE LIVING IN
THE GUATEMALA CITY GARBAGE DUMP COMMUNITIES. MORE THAN 50% ARE CHILDREN.
INCLUSION ALLIANCE
Our INclusion Alliance works with a team of speech pathologists, special educators and advocates in the U.S. to provide training and educational seminars for leaders and advocates in Guatemala.
BUILDING HOMES
It often takes multiple generations for a family in the communities to save up for a new home, our teams build homes alongside recipient families to exchange renewed hope.
MEDICAL INITIATIVES
Each year we partner with Guatemalan doctors and NGO’s to host medical clinics in the garbage dump communities. We also distribute medical grants each year to help sustain Guatemalan efforts.
HUMANITARIAN LEADERS
HOPE’S IN works with young adults and high school students in the Chicagoland area to help them engage with global impact.
EMPOWERING YOUNG MOTHERS
HOPE’S IN has built a community group from the ground up to educate and empower teen mothers and at-risk girls in Zone 3.
