  “The 6th annual Hope’s In Style celebrated the return of founder Courtney Quigley McGovern and the many people who have been touched by their involvement in the organization. Graduating early from New York University, McGovern came back to take on the role of Executive Director of Hopes In. The organization she founded after became close to a girl she met while on a mission trip with Potter’s House, an organization that helps those living in the Guatemala City Garbage Dump. “If there were a modern-day poster girl for Barrington Junior Women’s Club (BJWC) and the profound impact the nonprofit organization has had on our community over the last eight decades, it might be Courtney Quigley. The Barrington native and winner of the BJWC’s 2014 Janice Clarke Presidential Scholarship says she has benefited from BJWC-sponsored programs and initiatives all her life. “Whether I knew it or not, I have been touched by BJWC since I was a little girl.
