Update written by Katie Rosales, Fortaleza Program Director Last month, we finally found the perfect rental space for Fortaleza’s headquarters in Guatemala City. It’s a big step for our work with Fortaleza women and children. This space will be used for one-on-one psychological therapy, intentional counseling, mentorship, tutoring, and an office space for our two staff members, Katie and Luisa. The space is located just a few blocks away from where most of the girls live. We are looking forward to transforming the place into a refreshing and welcoming refuge for the women we serve.
