This September 29th, I turn 20 years old! I’ve decided that rather than receiving birthday gifts this year, I’d like to try and help empower families in Guatemala!
I hope to raise money for the 501(c)(3) organization, HOPE’S IN, as I believe that they positively change the lives of the people living in Guatemala. I specifically am fundraising for their INclusion Alliance program which empowers organizations serving children with special needs.
My birthday goal is to raise $500.00 or more to help the INclusion Alliance’s work. They currently are fundraising $10,000 to fully fund a special education program at a children’s home in Guatemala.
This past summer, I traveled with my friends and other families to Guatemala City to help construct houses with the HOPE’S IN organization. I learned so much from the people of Guatemala and am excited to continue making an impact!
