About Our Program
This is an internship program for young adults with disabilities. The goal of the program is to promote independence, develop professional skills, and be present in our local communities.
Throughout the year, interns get together to learn about social impact, volunteer at local charities, and work hard to sustain their program through greeting card sales. The greeting cards feature each intern’s original artwork.
The HOPE’S INterns Young Adults program is lead by Lindsay Olesen. Olesen is a special educator at a public school in Illinois.
