Hey Dear Friends,
As each year passes, we become more aware of how blessed we are as a family. We also realize, more and more, that we are blessed not to consume – but to turn around and bless other people and other families. In fact, one of our big goals this year as a family is to Be Generous with Our Time, Talent and Treasure.
So, this summer we are making another annual trip to Guatemala to work alongside a family as we build their home. We want to help empower a family in deep need so they, too (like us), can have a sink with running water, a toilet to flush, a shower to rinse off in at night, and a roof over their heads.
As volunteers with HOPE’S IN, we are committed to raise part of the cost of the home we will be building. We are hoping to raise $9,000 with the help of our friends. Anything above and beyond will help offset the costs of our volunteer fees for security, translators and supporting Potters House.
It often takes families multiple generations to save money for a cinderblock home. This home provides dignity, security, and protection for an amazing family in Guatemala City. Thank you for your support!
