Don Muto currently works for Keysight as a Sr. Director of Sales for the West Enterprise Team. Muto has been with the company for nine years and moved from Barrington, IL to Scottsdale, AZ two years ago when he took on this new leadership role for the company.
Muto has been involved with HOPE’S IN since 2013 when he went on his first trip to Guatemala with his daughter Katie. Previously Muto had been involved for four years with the Loyola Academy Rowing Association and the years prior to being President, he ran their trip logistics for approximately (104) Student Athletes and their parents which included coordinating hotels, buses, airplanes, food etc…Because of that experience Muto felt he could add value to HOPE’S IN.
Muto joined the Board of Directors shortly after that trip with the primary responsibility of coordinating all the logistics and communications of the group trips to Guatemala. When Muto first started we only had one group going to Guatemala but as the organization has grown we now have two different groups in the summer and are planning a spring trip as well.
Muto says: “I’m involved with Hope’s In because it allows me to contribute to helping people who need it most. This is, without a doubt, the most fulfilling activity I have ever been involved in and the people I have had the opportunity to work with throughout the years are amazing. We sponsor a little girl, Leslie, and getting to know her and her family, as well as watch her growing up, has been a great experienced. Seeing Leslie when I go to Guatemala is always one of the highlights of the trip for me.”
