Potter’s House was founded by two Guatemalan women after they were convicted and heartbroken by the reality of the poverty in the Guatemala City garbage dump communities. The organization now has 5 main programs that provide holistic care to the people living in the communities.

District 220 has partnered with HOPE’S IN to deliver a service learning and leadership development program for Freshman at the high school. This unique program allows for students to discover their service passions while growing as leaders.

Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital generously donates medical supplies and medicine to the HOPE’S IN medical initiatives in Guatemala City. The hospital also graciously allows our volunteer doctors to promote the trip to their fellow health professionals.
