Hope is ready to be spread on the runway! Join us on April 24th at Avante Banquet Hall and Conference Center for HOPE’S IN 10th Annual Fashion Show fundraiser, Hope’s In Style. This year’s theme is a special 10 year anniversary edition, incorporating all the themes from the past Hope’s In Style events. Hope’s In Style is an ubeat, creative, and interactive event that is suitable for all age groups. The event involves over sixty student volunteers from District 220 and beyond, the majority of which volunteer their time as stylist and model teams to create fun, fashionable looks to showcase on the runway. In addition, there are a plethora of activities off the runway including raffles, inspiring speeches, snacks, and more!
Ultimately, Hope’s In’s mission is to empower families in Guatemala City as well as help develop the next generation of humanitarian leaders. To further this mission, Hope’s In Style is donating 100% of the proceeds from this event to go directly towards building homes, providing educational scholarships, and providing medical care for families living in poverty in Guatemala. Hope’s In Style is truly a joyful and worthwhile experience, and we need your support to make our goals a reality! We HOPE to see you there!

About HOPE’S IN
HOPE’S IN NFP’s mission is to empower families living in Guatemala City and develop the next generation of humanitarian leaders. We empower Guatemalan families by defending their rights to shelter, education and healthcare. This is done by building homes, investing in local tutoring programs, and financially supporting and volunteering at local health clinics. More specifically we seek to empower populations within Guatemala that are most vulnerable to
repeating the cycle of poverty in their family. Therefore we focus on serving marginalized communities, teen mothers, and persons with disabilities.
The development of humanitarian leaders is done through both international service trip opportunities and local volunteer programs such as our HOPE’S INternship program and Hope’s In Academy (HIA). The HIA is a service learning and leadership development program at Barrington High School sponsored by the Barrington Area Community Foundation. These volunteer opportunities give students and adults a unique perspective of the world that allows them to enhance their skills as a leader in a global narrative.
